She falls inside both size 6 and size 8; the 8 is closest to the middle of her ranges, so it is the first pick and the 6 is the alternative. In 62 °F water a 3/2 mm full suit is the usual choice.
How the wetsuit calculator works
WetsuitSizeCalc compares your height and weight with each size in a generic men’s or women’s chart. A size scores zero when you are inside both its height and weight range; otherwise it scores the inches you are outside the height range plus the pounds outside the weight range divided by five. The lowest score wins, with ties going to the size whose range middles are closest to you, and the runner-up is shown as an alternative. For thickness it takes the water temperature, subtracts 6 °F if you dive and 4 °F if you run cold, and looks it up in the temperature chart.

Frequently asked questions
Can women wear men’s wetsuits?
Yes, but the fit is often loose at the waist and tight at the hips. A women’s cut usually fits and seals better.
What if I am tall for my size?
Some brands make tall women’s sizes. Otherwise size up if the sleeves and legs are too short.
Are women’s wetsuit sizes the same across brands?
They are close but not identical. Use this chart to narrow it down and then check the brand’s chart.
Is WetsuitSizeCalc free?
Yes, with no sign-up or ads, and your measurements stay in your browser.
Is this chart the same for every brand?
No. It is a typical generic chart. Brands vary, so confirm with the maker’s chart, and try a suit on if you can.
